Triage Triumphs: July 2025

From time to time, we are lucky enough to get kudos for our recruiters and it was recently National Healthcare Recruiter Day so our travelers shared the love. For the past 3.5 yrs, Brian Kuhr has always been there for me, even during non-working hours. I’ve never felt pressure from him and never felt confused by anything he’s presented to me. If I have a question he’s unsure about, he’ll respond with, “not sure, but let me find out” and has always followed through with it. Right now, I’m dealing with a death in my family, and not only has he been so understanding with my lack of responses to him, he will periodically check on me to see if I’m ok. I’ve worked with multiple companies and recruiters over the past 8 years as a travel nurse, and Lana Kimmich has been the absolute best. Since I met her in 2017 she’s consistently been responsive, thoughtful, kind, and always finds a solution to any problem I may come across. Travel nursing can be super stressful at times, but it has been an absolute dream because of her. I believe it’s the recruiter that honestly makes the experience, and all these years traveling have been effortless because of her. At this point Lana is more of a friend than just a recruiter.
