Summer 2023 Festivals You Can’t Miss

Summer’s fast approaching and with that comes summer music festivals. Whether you’re working all summer but looking for a few quick weekend getaways or you’re planning on taking some time to strictly enjoy yourself this summer, here are a few summer music festivals to get you in the summer mood.

CMA Fest

If country music is your jam, CMA Fest is where you need to be. It’s a four day festival celebrating all things country music in the country music capital, Nashville. CMA Fest is June 8-11 at Nissan Stadium and its stars include Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert and Tim McGraw. A four day pass starts around $600, but if you only want to attend a single day, those are also available currently. If you’re a country music fan and around Nashville, check it out.

Watershed

If you can’t make it to Nashville in June, Watershed takes place in George, Washington and is the biggest camping and country music festival in the Northwest. The three day festival is August 4-6 and the stage overlooks the Columbia River, providing a gorgeous backdrop for your favorite country music stars. Fans can expect to see Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson and more. Watershed passes start at $250, but if you’re planning on camping, you’ll need to purchase your camping spots separately.

Roots Picnic

Roots Picnic is hosted by the Roots and takes place in Philadelphia June 2-4. Performers include Usher, Lil Uzi Vert, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Diddy and the Roots and even Dave Chappelle. General admission tickets for the two days start at about $200 and go up if you decide to add any VIP or Plus packages. Single day tickets start at $100. Entrance to Dave Chappelle’s comedy show is sold out, though you may be able to find tickets on a resale site.

The Governor’s Ball

If you’re near NYC in June, check out the Governor’s Ball June 9-11. The three day festival has headliners like Lizzo, Odesza and Kendrick Lamar, with so many other performers scheduled. A three day general admission ticket will run you $329, while a one day pass is $139. VIP and general admission plus packages are also available.

Rolling Loud

If hip hop is your thing, head to Miami July 21-23 for Rolling Loud. Headliners include Playboy Carti, Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky and surprise guests that are yet to be announced. There are a limited number of tickets left, starting at $329 for general admission.  Higher tiers and shuttle tickets are also available on the festival’s website.

Outside Lands

The Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival takes place Aug. 11-13 at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. This year, Kendrick Lamar, Foo Fighters, Odesza, Janelle Monae, Lana Del Ray and Megan Thee Stallion will all perform over three days in California. Single day general admission tickets start at $200, while a three day pass is $450.
