Triage’s I-9 Process
At Triage, we’re always looking for ways to make our travelers’ lives easier. That’s why we’ve partnered with SterlingCheck.com for the I-9 verification process.
Here’s how it works.
- You will receive an email from [email protected] with a temporary password and a sign-in link.
- Use the link to enter the Sterling I-9 portal and temporary password
- Update your password
- Then you’ll see your Sterling dashboard
- Now, complete Section 1 of your I-9 form.
- Select which documents you’ll provide for the document inspection and upload front and back copies. Click here to see what documents are accepted.
- After the documents and information have been submitted, you can immediately complete Section 2 of your I-9 form. Click the blue button that says “Complete Section 2 with ID.me”
- You will need to download Zoom for this next step
- Follow the prompts to connect with an ID.me agent
- Finish the I-9 verification process via video chat with an ID.me agent
- You will need the physical documents used in Section 1 available. You will show these to the ID.me agent during your video call.
- Copies of documents are not accepted for document inspection
- This process will take 5-7 minutes. ID.me agents are available Monday-Friday, 9 am-7 pm, EST
That’s it! As a reminder, the I-9 verification process is required by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Your I-9 form needs to be completed by Day 1, along with completing the video call by Day 3 of your assignment. If you have questions regarding this process, please contact your recruiter.
