Triage Turns 18

It’s a pretty awesome day here in Triage-land. It’s our birthday! And not just any birthday, but we’re turning 18. Whoa. We’re officially adults.

Back in 2006, Triage CEO John Maaske and COO Tyler Pieper launched Triage with less than a handful of employees and four computers. At first, they worked to place radiology pros, but lab workers soon followed. After a few more months, Triage began to place rehab therapy providers. Nursing came a few years later and just recently, Triage launched its long-term care division. There’s the proof that we haven’t slowed down since.

Here are a few things we’ve been up to over the last year.

  • We made the Inc. 5000 Regionals: Midwest 2023 list of the fastest growing companies in the Midwest. We landed spot #32.
  • Both our Omaha and Cincinnati offices got an upgrade. Our Omaha staff combined under one roof back in April, 2023 and our Cincy staff had a renovation to their workspace. If you’re in the area, drop by!
  • Staffing Industry Analysts named us as one of the top 15  healthcare staffing firms.
  • BetterNurse.org named us as one of the top three best travel nurse agencies.
  • VeryWell Health named us as the Best Overall Travel Nursing Agency.
  • The Gypsy Nurse named Triage as a finalist in all of its categories, including Best Overall Travel Nurse Agency, Most Loyal Travel Nurse Agency, Best Assignment Concierge, Most Traveler-Centric Benefits and Best Career Accelerator.
  • Forbes (yes, that Forbes!) named us to their List of America’s Best Temp Staffing Firms
  • Inc. Magazine named us to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s Fastest Growing Companies for the eighth time. This was our fifth year in a row on the list and our best ever ranking.
  • Triage launched its long-term care division. More jobs are being added each week in long-term care divisions.

Awards and recognitions are nice and all, but what it really means for you is more healthcare jobs and more opportunities.
