We have many traveling medical professionals all over the country that work in some very cool locations. Being part of the Triage team means you’re part of our family and to celebrate our family, we decided to feature one of our traveling medical professionals each month on our blog and social media channels. Let’s get to know each other a little better!

Meet Kristi, a medical sonographer that’s been traveling for over 15 years now!

“Kristi is a phenomenal sonographer and one of the best I’ve worked with in my many years of staffing. She is always consistent, willing and able to do whatever is thrown at her! Kristi has been doing travel work for longer than I have been a recruiter and the day will come when she won’t want to do it anymore…that will be a sad day for me as I will miss her terribly!  Thank you, Kristi, for all you’ve done for us and all you continue to do! You deserve this!!” – Ray Petty, Recruiter

We asked Kristi to answer a few questions about working at Triage to give us a better look into what Kristi is all about! Here are her responses:

Why Triage?  There are many reasons to travel with Triage. One of the most important reasons, I believe (besides the fantastic recruiters Ray and Kelly), is that Triage understands that even though we are travelers, life happens. We have families we have to take care of and emergencies do occur. Triage will always do what is best for me and the facility I am working with. I am a daughter, sister, niece, and cousin, not just a traveler.

How long have you been traveling? I have been traveling a total of over 15 years.

What is your greatest accomplishment? I am most proud of becoming registered in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular Ultrasound. Hard work pays off.

What’s one food you couldn’t live without? I could never give up peanut butter. I have an allergy to peanuts, thankfully it’s a mild one. I hope it never causes an extreme reaction.

What is the one thing still your bucket list? I was born in Louisiana and I am a huge LSU fan. GEAUX TIGERS! I want to go see my Tigers play on a Saturday night in Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge. They don’t call it Death Valley for nothing.

What talent/skill do you wish you had? Playing the bass. This is still on my bucket list, so I plan on one day having the skill.

What is your go-to beverage? Coke!

What was your favorite cartoon growing up? Scooby Doo. I still love him.

Which one of the seven dwarfs are you most like? Dopey and I am okay with that.

What is your best personality trait? My sense of humor.

What is the greatest invention of all time? The radio. Besides my dog Grayson, music is what helps me enjoy life. I will turn off the tv and just turn a plain clock radio on to check out the local stations.

We love highlighting our travelers each month because it gives everyone an opportunity to learn how amazing our team really is! Ready to join the Triage Staffing family? Search allied and travel nurse jobs today.
