This month’s spotlight goes to Kate, a traveling nurse who has been with Triage for almost four years!

How long have you been traveling?
I have been traveling for about five years and have loved every minute! It is so exciting to be able to go pretty much where and when I want, and get paid for it! There is so much to see in this world and I am thankful my job allows me to do just that.
Why Triage Staffing?
Triage is a great company, everyone is so friendly and helpful. It has always felt like a family business, rather than just being another cog in the wheel.
How do you spend your days off?
I enjoy hiking, cooking and reading, so it’s usually a combination of the three! I think an ideal day would be to get up early and hike a mountain, then come home to cook an awesome dinner and enjoy drinks with friends. After, wind down with a good book and a hot soak in the tub!
What is the one food you could never give up?
Bread, definitely. It is so good, really the best.
What is one thing still on your bucket list?
I would love to go skydiving. I like being up high and I love going fast, that is a perfect combination of those activities.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Tom Hardy or Selma Hayek. They are just beautiful!
What is your go-to beverage?
Coffee, black as night and piping hot.
What fortune do you hope comes in your next fortune cookie?
You will prosper and have great adventures in the new year.
What is your favorite TV channel/show?
Game of Thrones
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An artist. I was in some type of art class until I graduated high school and won several awards for it. When I was younger, I thought I would be a famous painter, then as I got older I thought I would be a graphic designer. I still love to draw and paint, I just don’t rely on it for my living!
